My students need construction paper in a variety of color and sizes, two glue guns with extra glue sticks, a staple gun with extra staples and wiggly eyes.
It is amazing how fast we can go through paper, glue and staples. This project is to replenish our depleted supply.
This year I am teaching a second/third grade combination class.
I am really enjoying my class. My new second graders are amazing, hardworking, inquisitive students. My third graders, all whom I have taught before, are independent, smart and amazing! How can I go wrong with this combination of students?
My Project
My students need construction paper in a variety of color and sizes, two glue guns and extra glue sticks, a staple gun with extra staples and wiggle eyes. We will use these supplies for art projects, making journals, and decorating our classroom. The paper will be used for all subjects. We use the paper for arts and craft projects, for making books, for making folders to hold our work, and as a border for our bulletin board displayed work. The glue and staples will be used for putting together projects and displaying them in the classroom. The googly eyes are for various projects we do throughout the year.
The supplies requested are the essential materials needed for running a classroom.
Paper is a necessary item in the primary grades as we use it daily. Heavy duty staplers, staples and glue will make our lives so much easier. We will be able to put together projects and display them and they won't fall apart! So many times the school glue doesn't adhere well and the staples we use to mount projects onto the wall don't penetrate the wall. This will no longer be an issue.
