The materials in this project will help round out and complete what we need for our science, literacy, art, and math centers. This project includes letter tracing boards, bug catchers and viewers, sorting kits, craft tape dispenser, color and number magnetic sorting maze, pre-writing practice cards and a flannel board.
I can already see the light in my students' eyes and the smiles on their faces as they interact with materials that support some of their favorite activities.
For example, my friends love making 3-D art with tape, so the tape dispenser will keep these organized and make it easier to tear off pieces. They also love using story re-telling props, but we're missing a flannel board to use some of these props. And what young child doesn't love to observe a bug safely contained in a jar?
