it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Albert Einstein said, “ Play is the highest form of research.” Preschool is an integral part of a child’s learning journey that will shape them into future engineers, teachers, doctors, scientists, and anything they can think of becoming. I teach in an early transitional kinder/Preschool collaborative classroom in a lower-income community. The community around us is composed of mostly Hispanics and other minorities. Due to the hardship my students had to face last year and continue to face; they are limited in resources. Yet, my students continue to learn to play, read, write, count, and, most importantly, be a kid.
My Project
My project is to provide early reading books to help my students learn to read. My students are eager to learn, and they love exploring new books. By providing my classroom with Bob books and emergent reading books, my students can practice sight words and develop early reading skills.
My students enjoy reading and get very excited when we have a new book in the class.
My students love books, and this project will make their dreams a reality and provide them with the necessary skills for the next grade level, and it will expand their learning abilities.
