My Project
Help us to bring to life our cozy reading corner this school year with a diversity of sturdy books to rotate and explore! The children value the classroom library and take an interest in a variety of reading topics. It is a well-cared for and quiet, calm space for the children to retreat to with peers as they enter the world of imagination.
The children use the book illustrations for storytelling, retell favorite selections from memory and spend small group and individual time reading with teachers.
We are continually updating our library with books about diverse people, families and more. The children will also be able to use the wooden Alphabet boards to practice forming letters in a tactile way.
