My Students

The students I work with are third graders who are full of energy, creativity, and curiosity. They love to read, work on their math skills, and complete STEM projects. They also love to use technology to learn new skills and work on coding.

My Project

My students this year are a unique blend with a majority loving all things related to sports. They want to play baseball, football, and kickball at recess. Their first choice of books to read also relate to sports. Unfortunately I do not have enough high interest sports books to meet my students at their various reading levels. My students this year have a large range of reading skills and this project would provide high interest books at their different reading levels.

Another part of the project is to provide additional recess equipment.

My students would love the opportunity to play flag football at recess and learn additional skills related to working as a team and problem solving together.
