My students are an incredible bunch of 3rd graders! They have a "can-do" attitude despite academic barriers and difficult home circumstances. They have made so much progress this school year because of their positive mindsets.
My students are finding their love for reading!
We have been blessed with new books and cozy reading chairs, which have made our library "the place to be" in our classroom. With a larger rug, 52 square feet will be added to our library area. This means more students will be able to enjoy the space during the reading block.
BONUS—The current library rug will be moved to an underutilized area of the classroom to create a small group work area. One new rug creates two new spaces in my classroom!
