This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Kids love to learn and grow from the use of technology. It is exciting to see their faces light up as they use technology in stations to learn.
I teach 20 1st graders in a low income school district in Texas.
They are eager to learn and excited to be in school. They have a love for learning that I don't ever want them to lose. I love my job and the reward of getting to see precious little one's faces light up as they learn, grow, and are loved!
My Project
By receiving this laptop, my students will be able to work on it during station time in a lot of ways. My students will be able to use many different educational sites to enhance and enrich their learning. They will be able to read and take Accelerated Reading tests on the computer. They will also be able to research many different topics in Science and Social Studies as we cover them in class. The possibilities are endless with the addition of this laptop to our classroom!
This laptop will help my students by providing a spiral review of skills through many different interactive websites as we move forward through the year.
It will help them to become better readers by encouraging them to take AR test on it. It will provide another way that I can reach them. This laptop will be a great asset to our classroom.
