Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a special education teacher a laptop is a necessary tool for many reasons including professional development, instructional preparation, delivery of instruction, and it is a learning tool for my students as well. As a resource specialist teacher I work with students in different grade levels, therefore this laptop would help me to efficiently plan, organize, and differentiate instruction for all my different learners based on their learning goals.
This laptop will also help me provide visuals for my diverse learners through videos, google slides, and through different learning websites that are engaging.
In addition, I have to write IEP's, write assessment reports and collaborate with colleagues. This laptop will truly help me communicate more effectively with the families I serve as well. Lastly, as a teacher I am always learning and growing to be the best educator for my students through professional development, webinars, and online trainings. Please help me get this laptop so that I can be the teacher for my students!
