This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school caters to students coming from a low socio-economic background. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, weeplace our old laminating machine which has recently broken down. It is essential for us to have a new laminatin are unable to rg machine since teachers often create visually appealing and informative charts to aid in the learning process. There are many students who rely on these laminated charts posted around the classroom for learning and remedial purposes. However, creating these charts can be time-consuming,inate them to preserve and reuse them throughoutar, and sometime so teachers lams even into the the academic yenext year. This helps to avoid wastage and sets an example of sustainable practices for the students.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
