Help me give my students a laminating machine so I can enhance their instruction by preserving and recycling class posters, charts, vocabulary cards, as well as student created projects.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a laminating machine and pouches to use in our classroom. Laminating my students' work helps me save paper and at the same time I am teaching my students to reuse, reduce, and recycle. Each year I spend lots of time creating posters, rubrics, and other visual aids that support my students' learning. The laminating machine would save us precious instructional time. I will use the laminating machine to create letter cards, name cards, and number cards that will allow my students to recognize them. The durable plastic film will keep my students active and engaged. We will also use the laminating machine to share poems and art projects that students can take home.
