This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a diverse group of eager, imaginative, and resilient learners who come from various backgrounds. Many face challenges outside the classroom, but they arrive each day with bright smiles and a genuine love for learning. Despite their individual obstacles, they are always ready to participate, ask questions, and engage in classroom activities. They enjoy singing songs, listening to stories, and working together during morning meetings and group lessons.

A classroom rug would provide them with a consistent, safe spot to sit and engage in learning while fostering a sense of belonging and helping to strengthen our classroom community.
