This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom we have traditional tables with chairs, tables with stools, and tables lowered to the floor with flexible seating. We use seat sacks to store our materials that are not being used, however, students that use a flexible seating option, don't have an area to store their materials.
This project will give my students who chose a flexible seating option, an area to keep all their learning materials that are not being used.
Any leftover space these selves might have will go towards housing our math manipulatives and/or science materials.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
