This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Middle School students are learning the way of the world differently than in the past. Cell phones and computers outshine the classic paperback book. Well, not in my Read 180 classroom! Space is limited in my room and we need a way to organize our books by level so that students can spark interest. The students in my classroom struggle with reading skills, so having a organized space is very important for their success. I see students from 5th to 8th grade so I have a large range of students reading on different Lexile levels, and you know what that means... lots of books!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
