This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A dedicated reading nook encourages students to explore books independently, build early literacy skills, and develop a personal connection to reading. It also provides a quiet space for students to relax, reflect, and enjoy stories that support both academic growth and social-emotional development.

Your donation will help us design an inviting environment where curiosity, imagination, and a love of reading can grow.

A well-stocked and diverse classroom library allows each child to explore books that match their reading level and interests, helping build confidence and enthusiasm for learning. Your support will allow us to provide a range of fiction and nonfiction titles, multicultural books, and materials that reflect our students’ experiences and the broader world around them.

With your support, we can give our kindergartners a magical corner of the classroom to call their own. Every contribution—big or small—makes a meaningful difference in creating an inviting, literacy-rich environment where all children can thrive.
