it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Giving our students new experiences and connecting with our community is important to our school. Every year we try to provide activities and programs that will help teachers build stronger relationships with students and their parents outside of the classroom setting. When strong relationships are built between teachers, students, and parents, there is only greater success for students both in and out of the classroom. Having a fall carnival with a haunted house is one way to help build those relationships.
With the supplies needed, we can create experiences for our students, their families, and the surrounding community that will be fun and safe.
The black tarps will be used to create a haunted house for our fall carnival. They will also be used for large and messy science experiments to protect and contain any spills or broken glass. During our Field Day in the spring, the tarps will be used to provide students, teachers, and parents with shade during warmer Texas weather.
