Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Sometimes we all just need to pause for a moment and think about making different choices.
The listed items I'm requesting would make a great addition to enhance our calming space.
A classroom tent would offer my students a private space to help them self-regulate. The sensory viewers would allow my students to receive just the right amount of sensory input to improve their focus and help them stay calm. Last, but not least, having a cuddly calming ball and a plushy companion like the sloth could provide my students the security and comfort they need to ease any negative emotions.
