A Happy and Clean Place

Help me give my students , who have special needs, a calm and equipped changing room with a place to store their essentials.

My Students

My nine students put the special in special education. They are exceptional boys and girls ranging in age, as I teach middle and high school Lifeskills. We all reside in Lovelock, Nevada, a rural community that is about an hour and a half drive from Reno.

We have a room, that is the designated changing room and would love a proper shelf to store diapers, wipes, a better bed to change the students, and to beautify the room by painting it with student art.

My Project

With Covid, we all, as a whole, stepped up to the plate when it came to keeping things in the classroom, extra sanitary and hygenic. Our Lifeskills classroom continues to keep things up to these high standards. We need a proper way to store the essentials such as diapers and wipes, that our students need, and we want to make the room as calm as possible, by beautifying it, and painting it warm colors.

It absolutely helps learning, focus, and overall health, no matter what a student's intellectual ability is, when a child is thoroughly clean and dry.

It certainly makes for a happy student, and a happy student makes a happy classroom environment.
