A Growing Band In Need

My students need a clarinet, trumpet, and flute.

My Students

Every morning for an hour and a half my students go on a magical music journey.

Our school is a wonderful place full of young students who aspire to excel in the arts.

The students are eager to learn, but often encounter problem in their community. We are a Title I School district of Philadelphia Renaissance charter school. Although our students may not have the perfect back stories we are teaching them to overcome their circumstances by taking responsibility, displaying integrity, and putting forth their best effort.

My Project

My students need a clarinet , trumpet, and flute. Our band students will use these instruments in the class. We have grown in size and we are in need of more instruments so that everyone can participate in our musical journey. The students will be able to engage in activities that allow them to explore new genres of music and teach them about different compositions.

It saddens me that some of my students have to sit on the side line with broken instruments and some of them not having an instrument at all.

This donation will help us out tremendously and we would be able to continue winning competitions and displaying our great student band in the community and tri-state area.
