it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a public school. We are a Title I school and although we have some resources we are always in need of more challenging and engaging materials.
My early scholars in PK are full of ideas, creativity, energy, and love.
They enjoy working as a team building, imagining, acting, playing, drawing, and writing as a part of our school day.
Your donation will allow my early scholars to develop social and emotional skills, foster creativity and imagination, and finally to encourage language skills so needed in PK.
My Project
We are going to start the new school year in a virtual setting. As a Prekindergarten teacher, I want to offer my kids the best opportunity to succeed at school. They will need manipulatives and materials to aid in the development of fine motor skills and coordination and to understand concepts.
Each child will receive the same manipulatives and materials.
I will be able to make a difference in their learning experience because they will be able to play and learn at home by being engaged in the learning process. My daily activities will be hands-on to make sure they are enjoying and having an appropriate Pk experience even at home.
I believe by using manipulatives, I will help my children to create and imagine a new word. I will help them to express their feelings of frustration, happiness, sadness.
