Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When students start 3rd grade they often struggle with organization, being independent, and self motivation.

My students need extra organizational space.

By using seat pockets, colorful file folders, office organizers, and pocket organizers, my students can be better organized. They also have a hard time keeping track of their supplies. Having crayon boxes to keep small items in, and magnetic dry-erase markers, with erasers, will help them keep track of their items.

I also have a cactus theme. Having cactus motivation posters for both the calm corner and reading area will make these areas more inviting to students. The chart paper will allow me to make anchor charts to scaffold learning and help make learning accessible to all.

With a wide variety of learners, and being a Title 1 school, this donation will give my students more than just the basics to start the year off with.
