My Students
My amazing kindergarteners are so excited to learn. They want to know everything 'right now'. We cover so many basic concepts that they will need for the rest of their lives. I love seeing them get so excited when they understand.
Kindergarten is a year full of changes and lots of learning, I want to give my students their best chance this year.
I know how pivotal this year is and am excited to help them understand more than ever this year!
My Project
Sitting in a hard chair or on the hard floor isn't always easy for a child who hasn't been in school. The pandemic has caused a lot of 'new' experiences, for a lot of kindergartners it has caused their first schooling experience to be in kindergarten, not preschool or other small group settings. So, they have come in not knowing how to sit 'criss cross applesauce' on the floor and sitting still in a chair while they practice new skills at a desk.
Flexible seating options gives kids a way to get their wiggles out and focus on the skill they are learning.
It gives kids so much more help as they transition into students.
