Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a classroom rug is essential for a classroom in lower elementary. These young students need a spot to gather for instruction and a place to sit together comfortably while learning and reading with one another.
This rug will provide a welcoming environment for current and future students and build a positive and collaborative classroom environment.
It will be a place where students know to come to and receive instruction such as a space to sit and read and be read to.
A rug that can accommodate all of my students and be durable enough to last is essential for our learning and classroom environment. These rugs are big enough to accommodate all of our students and are durable enough to withstand the students at this age and level.
