My Project

I have been teaching AP Literature and Composition in the city of New Haven for twenty years. This project would fund a complete classroom library of the most common AP Literature titles to be used for independent reading assignments. I am lucky every year to see my students' excitement at finding their way through these classic texts. They are often surprised to see themselves reflected in the full range of humanity presented in these novels and plays. This discovery will build their confidence about their abilities and their next steps.
