My Project

We are finishing strong here in second grade. We have about two months left and we get to do some of our most exciting reading and math units as we close out. I have been told that next year I will be teaching third grade - exciting - so I am preparing to move classrooms.

I would love to make the third grade space an inviting, orderly classroom.

The bookshelf will go in our Alaska corner. It's a calm, cool place that is 'far away' from everyone else in case students need a break. Right now we have a bean bag chair and a bucket with our calm down tools but a bookshelf would help structure the space and give easy access to our chill out books.

The other items will help simply keep our third grade organized and give them plenty of visuals as we move through the year. I am excited for the challenge of teaching a new grade (I've taught 2nd for 14 years) and thank you for reading!
