A Fresh Start

My Project

This year begins a new adventure in a grade I know and love. I have taught kindergarten for 6 years each in two different districts, but this year I begin again teaching kindergarten in a new district! I can't wait to meet my new class and see all the progress they will show over the year, socially and academically. We need a few things to get us going.

My students deserve a comfy reading area with a turtle rug and body pillow to place against the wall.

The headphone splitters and wall plugs will help set up a listening center. We also need a new printer, as the one I had for many years has completely stopped working. The printer will be used to make center activities, a colorful sound wall, and more. The laptop cover will protect my laptop when students are using it to practice keyboarding skills. The mini fridge will store gel packs (that I already have) for minor student injuries. The handheld vacuum will be used to quickly and easily clean up messes. I've also noticed a few unwanted guests...spiders and roaches. We need roach traps and mint spray to keep the insects away! The air fresheners will keep our room smelling good. The fadeless bulletin board paper will cover some small boards in the room on either side of the whiteboard.
