My Project

My group of third grade students are active and willing to learn. Regardless of the challenges they have in their lives, they work hard to be successful. The household socio-economic status and family dynamics of some of my students serves as barriers at times, but they still persevere.

By donating to this project, you will help boost my students' confidence in themselves inside and outside of the classroom.

When students have confidence, they are more likely to enjoy learning and participating in class. The body wipes and deodorant will be used to help students feel clean and smell fresh when they have not had the opportunity to clean themselves at home. This will keep them from being subjected to mean comments about body odor and keep them focused on learning. For those students who consistently have issues with this, they will receive the Herbal Essence Kits.

My students have no control over some things, so if they can get the assistance they need from the place where they get their education, I think that is a win-win situation .
