Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Alice Temperley states, "Clothes can transform your mood and confidence." With your support, you can give children coming to the United States a fresh start with confidence as they move into the new world around them. Learning a new language, culture, making friends, dressing the part, and more can be extremely difficult for newcomers. However, you can play a major part to a great success story!

Your contribution could aid a child in obtaining the basic personal hygiene, school supplies, and most of all the self-confidence needed to function in a new school.

Remember, your support is needed and will be greatly utilized amongst the students who are new to the country. This is only one part of a greater issue, and, with your contribution, you can close the gap and assist a family in need.

Mrs. Dixon will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 9.
