This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to provide the incoming fourth grade students with new supplies to help them succeed throughout the school year. In class, students use write and wipe name tag holders to practice decimal place value and fractions on a number line. Math lessons begin with the whole class practicing foundational skills on their whiteboards, and we go through many dry-erase markers throughout the year! Composition notebooks, pencils and pencil sharpeners are utilized throughout the day and during all subjects, including science, social studies, math, and all areas of literacy.
