My students are special because they are diverse learners who want to experience a fun and engaging education. They attend a community school where students live in close proximity. Our school is an early childhood center, located in an inner-city neighborhood. We are a Title I school where students receive free or reduced-price lunches too. Many students are new to the country and have to adapt to the English language and American culture. Relationships cannot grow without proper communication between peers.
My Project
The materials I am requesting for our classroom are to keep the students engaged and motivated during our new school year. (2021-2022) If some students choose remote learning, the math journals, whiteboards and markers will be distributed to them for learning from home. Third graders will learn a unit about Force and Motion. The Force and Motion activities I requested will be very hands-on and fun for the students.
Our classroom décor is themed Superheroes.
Every student is a superhero, especially after such a long 2020 school year, due to the pandemic. The superhero theme is motivating and colorful for our classroom. It will surely brighten your day!
