Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help create a classroom environment where my students can feel comfortable, focused, and excited to learn every day. With the support of these materials, I’ll be able to offer flexible seating options like floor cushions and stadium chairs, giving students choices that support their movement and focus. Organizational tools such as storage carts, magnetic drawers, and table caddies will help keep our space tidy and efficient, so we can spend more time learning and less time looking for supplies. The hands-on math and literacy manipulatives included—like counting bears, phonics games, and ten-frames—will bring important concepts to life in fun and engaging ways. A classroom laptop will also allow for more differentiated instruction and access to digital learning tools. Altogether, these resources will create a more dynamic, student-centered classroom where all learners can thrive. I'm truly excited to give my students the space and tools they need to grow, and I’m so grateful for any support that brings this vision closer to reality.
