Help me give my students a flexible learning space where they can take ownership of their learning by picking an area to work that better suits their needs.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This will be my first year teaching at this school, but I already know that my students are amazing! I have had the opportunity to learn that this group of students are compassionate and welcoming. They are very energetic and love it when movement can be incorporated into any lesson.
This group of students are kind, generous and very helpful.
They are always eager to find out what new concepts they will be learning about. They are respectful and take into consideration the opinions of others. They are a great group of kids!
My Project
The different seating options these materials will give my students will allow them to make executive decisions about their learning. They can choose where in the room they want to work, and pick a seat that will help them focus on the work they are doing.
Upper elementary classrooms don't offer as much movement space as students need.
Their minds are still growing and learning so much, and I want my students to feel comfortable in their classroom. These flexible seating options will give them the ability to choose where they want to work, which shows students they have power when it comes to their own learning.
