Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I am moving to a new grade after years of teaching kindergarten. I work in a very low income school and we don’t get money for new materials. Each of the materials purchased will help my students learn. The materials will support language arts instruction and math instruction. Some of the material like sentence building will also help them become great writers. The larger items like the rugs and seating will help provide my students with a cozy spot to read. In first grade, reading is so important and this is when students will find a true love for reading.
