A Fifth Grader's Library Dream!

My Students

My students are in fifth grade. They love art, science, literature, and getting their hands dirty. A lot of them reside on farms in rural homes, so they have tough chores to complete on a daily basis.

My students are kind, honest, and very caring.

They enjoy a good challenge as they have been tested this year, especially with this virus. Their perseverance and hope inspire me to do better for them. They are a great group of loving kids who love to read and learn.

My Project

These collections of books will encourage independent reading among my fifth graders by giving them options to choose from that align with their interests. The books we have now in our classroom library have been in the school for quite some time. They are pretty old and worn. I am a new teacher and do my best to hunt for bargains, but can use some help getting some new books for my deserving students.

I read to my students every day and having a couple of sets of books in the classroom library will allow me to engage their curiosity from the teacher read over to the next books in the series.

The series can start a love of particular authors or genre's too, so they will be a great benefit to have! Thank you for helping me bring enriching literature to my kiddos!
