Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Ever wonder what your life would be like if you didn't have access to a computer? For many of my students this is their reality.
We are inner city, low income, Title I School.
All of the students receive free or reduced lunch. However we have thrived despite the many obstacles we face. Last year we became a California Distinguish school. I have a fifth grade class where children with autism are mainstreamed all day long.
My Project
Through the use of a new laptop I will be able to expand my studentsâ knowledge. A laptop would provide students with multiple ways to access information. Students will be able to create and present projects and most importantly get them ready for the 21st century.
My students will truly benefit from this new laptop, not only will it provide more opportunities for them to learn it will also allow my teaching to become more interactive for all my students.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
