Help me give my students access to a reliable news source, The New York Times Upfront magazine! As well as several other non-fiction and fiction books, extension cords for laptops and incentive prizes!
I teach 9th grade English Language Arts. I teach students from a wide variety of backgrounds that make them a wonderful and dynamic group of people! Our area has the largest class sizes in the country (around 40 a class), and the lowest per pupil funding-so we could really use your help!
My Project
These books and magazine subscriptions will help broaden our classroom library! We are seeking to have a bookshelf that features stories about people from all walks of life and from a diverse array of authors! We want to have a variety of genres that will interest readers of all types and abilities.
Our school makes use of student laptops and as such require many extension cords to keep student laptops charged throughout the day.
Having more of cords around the room will help us continue our blended learning model with ease.
