Help me give my students dice for math to make learning multiplication easier and fun. I also create a lot of charts and writing with the chart paper and markers.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a Title I school. We are a school with a large concentration of low-income students. The number of low-income students is determined by the number of students enrolled in the free and reduced-price lunch program. Most of my students get free breakfast and lunch. My students come from families who are struggling to put food on the table let alone all the extras kids want and should have.
My school has about an 85% poverty rate, and my students are so grateful for all the supplies and extras donated.

My Project
The chart paper and markers will make it so that I can do writing activities with those in my class and on video with those that are quarantined for a time. Writing is something they are struggling with and it really helps them to do guided writing activities with me.
The kids really want dice to practice their multiplication facts and skills and would be so excited to get these.
Most of my students are really having a hard time with their multiplication facts and this will help them a lot.
I have also included more books for them to read at home to increase fluency as well as plastic money for them to continue to practice counting money.
