Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are two times during the year when teachers spend most of their personal moneys for their students' benefit: the end of the year and the beginning of the next. Whether it is markers and erasers for students to come to the board and explore, paper for projects, or books to enrich the classroom library, we need it!

This school year, the Language Arts teacher and I (Math teacher) involved students in interdisciplinary study and we want to expand our library and the tools needed to dissect the texts.

Through a previous grant we acquired books for interdisciplinary Math and Language units - We need more!

This project entails obtaining the necessary supplies to close out this year and open the next one. Learning takes place in our classroom until the very last day, and office supplies like sticky notes to mark passages, equations, and graphs are best jotted down by a book passage or on a board.
