My Students
My students are fantastic! They come from a variety of different backgrounds all over San Francisco. It's a wide mix of young people that fosters a diverse community of learning.
I have the incredible privilege of not just teaching my students important content, but developing their care for others both locally and globally.
I really believe their experience in my classroom deeply grows and molds their character in profound ways as they move towards adulthood. It is something I'm immensely grateful for and don't take for granted!
My Project
My last project got funded faster than I could have ever imagined! It was really humbling and flattering to see people's care for my students and belief in what I do as a teacher. I already had a lot covered, and that last project took care of the last few bits... or so I thought!
There are a couple last things that came to mind that would also help my students, things I didn't know until we started the year.
Now that we're a few days in, I can see there's a few extras that'd help. Thankfully, I can rely on the generosity of others to cover it!
