it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Thank you in advance for taking your time to support the little minds I work with every day. I currently teach TK-1st grade and enjoy every minute of it. My class is 1 out of 3 Special Education classes at my whole school. Therefore my students are (stuck!) with me for the first 3 years of their education. It is so important for me to teach and build the necessary foundational skills they need to succeed. Despite all the changes, my kiddos have all been attending class daily and look forward to Zoom class every day. As the year goes on the material I'll be teaching will be new and challenging. My kiddos are hands-on learners and require visuals and accommodations that I could easily provide at school. With the current circumstances I am unable to teach and use all the strategies I would in a classroom. My students also lack the support or resources at home. I need your help making their leaning just a bit easier!
My Project
Students have white boards at home and use them every class to participate. The white board markers they have now are running out so they need more! We will also continue to review adding using a number line and number chart. They are currently drawing out their number line so these charts will be super helpful. They also have a number chart that goes up to 100 and this one is double sided and goes up to 120. I will be getting a chart for myself and the large notepad for when I use the document camera!
