My Project

What is a field day? A field day is an exciting outdoor that gives kids the chance to celebrate the school year coming to an end, show some class pride, and spend a day being active. Since the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommends that kids get at least an hour of moderate-to-vigorous exercise a day, it’s important that schools make physical activity a priority for students. What better way to get kids active than through fun field day games and activities?

Field days are all about creating memorable experiences for students.

The events and field day games give students a chance to unwind and let loose, all while recognizing the value of physical activity for physical, emotional, and mental health. Goals for the day include personal enjoyment and positive social interactions. Scholars will demonstrate reponsible behaviors such as working with others and accepting differences among classmates in physical development and varying skill levels. Students will also recognizes the role of rules and etiquette in physical activities with peers.

The games and supplies requested will enable our students to work together in a caring and cooperative way, develop problem solving skills, and work together as a social unit- all while having fun!
