Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The current school year is winding down, but many teachers, like myself, already think of the new school year this coming fall! As we all know, a classroom is a student's second home. Therefore, I need the kind people of our community to help me give my students the classroom of their dreams!

As my students enter their classroom on the first day, I want them to feel welcome, safe, valued, and inspired.

I want them to fall in love with the classroom - a safe space they will spend the rest of the year in. To make this happen, the following items will be needed: bulletin paper and borders, decals for classroom door (to make it inviting!), garlands (to make it festive) and a Welcome set!

Welcome set is a message that my students will se as they line up outside the classroom. As they wait, they will enjoy the Welcome message, which, I hope, will set a positive tone for the first day of school and, hopefully, for the rest of the school year!

The blue bulletin paper will adore the classroom walls. Blue is one of the calming colors, and I believe that it will bring peace to our classroom family, and allow students to relax and concentrate while engaged in rigorous tasks!

Finally, garlands will add the finishing touch to make our classroom a fun learning space!

Therefore, every donation, small or large, will be greatly appreciated! Any donation, small or large, will surely make a BIG difference in the lives of my students!
