My Students
The students in our room are enrolled at an elementary school in Reno, Nevada. The culture of our school is special, and students maintain a high level of academic achievement, gain ample opportunities to work with the arts and have built a pretty amazing culture over the last 50 years.
In our room, students work hard and strive to be on a path to college, career and civic readiness.
All students enjoy working with challenging and complex materials that ensure academic and social success.
My Project
In our classroom, the arts do not just happen, they are celebrated. This can be costly and funding this project would ensure that students can use appropriate watercolor, tracing and drawing paper.
Our classroom uses Doodles-Academy, a free art lesson website, to ensure students have access to great curriculum.
Moreover, work from our classroom has been celebrated on the site. We would like to continue taking full advantage of all the free lessons and having quality materials for all of the students is important.
When we do an art lesson, we discuss, aesthetics, history, production and criticism. Production can be a challenge because art materials are costly. Your donation would ensure that cost is not a limiting factor.
