This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 4 and 5 year old students learn best through play! This project will fund dollhouse furniture and two sets of dolls for our play house. Students will use the furniture to set the stage for their story telling. They will use the dolls to tell stories and engage in imaginative play.

Nearly all of my students are English Language Learners and their success depends on their ability to master English vocabulary and grammar.

This dollhouse set will give them a way to practice lots of important vocabulary and dialogue. They will act out stories together, plan out rooms, and learn household words. Best of all, they will have fun while they learn.
