This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are amazing four-year-olds that are bilingual learners. You will find students who are eager to learn and excited for their first year of schooling.
We take pride in creating an environment that gets students excited for learning to create a strong starting point to becoming lifelong learners.
My Project
Learning has become a challenge for all students with the recent pandemic. As educators, we want to provide the safest environment for all our learners. I have students face-to-face in the classroom as well as virtual. I am required to teach both groups simultaneously. The use of a document camera in the classroom will help me teach both groups safely and at a distance. It will help in person as well as at home. This will be a great tool to have should I have to teach from home if our campus shuts down our in-person classes.
They will get to see books that we are reading, how to write, how to hold a pencil correctly, etc.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
