This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at my school are part of an inner city community where they have very few opportunities to experience hands-on activities. My students are second grade students in a STEAM Magnet program. Our campus recently added a STEAM Magnet class to each grade level and these students are excited about this opportunity. Not only do they show perseverance in school but they also do so in their everyday lives. They work very hard and hope for a better future, despite the circumstances that surround them. Students need various opportunities to experience Reading, Social Studies, Hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
My Project
Learning must continue whether it be from home or at school. Children need the best education they can receive. Please help equip their teacher with the best resource available to reach them.
