My Project
My students tend to learn the same thing every year about the Holocaust. The students in general always question how one man can turn a whole country against one group of people. They are confused at how hate can spread that easily just by one person. This novel will help them see a different side to the event.
A different perspective is important for students to learn today.
The novel will be paired with another novel. It shows two different perspectives and the students will get to see a different side to the Holocaust. Having a second outlook on one topic will help my students broaden their minds. It gives them a way to analyze one topic or one message using two different sources. I'm hoping they will get the confidence to always find different points of view on different topics in their lives.
