This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our new classroom has no desks where we can work collaboratively. This table would be the perfect addition to our classroom because we can work together at this table. I will be able to provide small group instruction to my self contained class of 7th and 8th graders. My students often need help in a smaller group. This table will allow me to work with 4 students at a time so I will be able to help them with their individual needs. I will also be able to show them how to do things without having to waste paper. We will be able to create things on the table because it is dry erase. This would be extremely helpful to my classroom and will benefit my students tremendously. A lot of my students are still struggling with a learning gap because of Covid. This table will provide me space to meet with them and help close that gap!
