Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As I begin my teaching journey, I’m working to create a classroom that feels comforting, welcoming, and calm. I’m aiming for a colorful space, but with soft, natural tones that help students feel safe and focused. In kindergarten, we spend a lot of time learning, sharing, and connecting on the carpet. That’s why having a high-quality, calming rug is so important—it sets the tone for our day and gives my students a warm, inviting space to grow and thrive together. This rug would truly make our classroom shine. I am grateful in advance for your consideration!
