A Cozy Space for Young Musicians

My Project

My music classroom is full of energy, creativity, and lots of awesome noise, but it's missing one important thing: a comfortable space for students to sit, move, and learn. Currently, my students sit either directly on a hard tile floor, which can be cold, uncomfortable, and distracting during music activities, or they sit in hard chairs.

I would love to give these young musicians a large classroom carpet to create a warm, welcoming, and more flexible space where students can gather for singing, movement, instrument playing, and music games.

A carpet will help define our learning area, support classroom management, and provide a sense of community and comfort.

In music class, students need the freedom to move, collaborate, and feel comfortable in order to be fully engaged. This simple addition will transform our classroom into a more inviting and functional environment that allows every student to focus, participate, and enjoy making music together.
