My Project

In our classroom, we embrace neurodiversity and never expect our students to mask their needs, sensory or otherwise! Instead, we meet them where they're at each moment of each day and create a sensory-rich environment that sets them up for success. While we are fortunate to have many sensory tools within our building, we need more to meet the daily needs of our kids.

The cuddle box will not only provide our students with a sensory-rich space to support regulation and sensory needs, but it will amplify access to sensory-motor activities by facilitating stability with mobility throughout the body, developing strength through weight bearing and weight shifting, encouraging explorative movement and play, and so much more!

Our entire team is committed to creating an environment that supports the communication, social, emotional, and varying needs of our kids. The cuddle box will add learning, growth, and, most importantly, JOY to our classroom.
